Surprise Stadium is home to the spring training season for the Kansas City Royals and Texas Rangers. If baseball isn’t your thing, take the family to see a free movie or some Fourth of July fireworks there instead.

Hit up the Surprise Aquatic Center or Hollyhock Community Pool to cool off during the hot summer months.
Love the outdoors? There are tons of opportunities to get some fresh air by hiking, fishing, or camping nearby in the Sonoran Desert and White Tank Mountains. Don’t forget the Lake Pleasant Regional Park as well. If fishing is your thing, Surprise Lake is a great place to cast a line.
