Attached pergolas have a multitude of benefits. They tend to be the more budget-friendly option since they don’t require quite as many materials as a freestanding one. (Attached pergolas are usually anchored by two outer posts while the other end is secured to the house itself.)
Attached pergolas also create a nice threshold between your indoor and outdoor living space. They also make excellent, cozy areas to enjoy outdoor dining and entertaining.
